CentreWorks brings together individuals from the Â鶹¸£Àû and local communities to discuss ideas, brainstorm projects, and collaborate on innovative ideas. CentreWorks provides a variety of support to build sustainable partnerships across while continuously reflecting and evaluating its programmatic goals and achievements. By working together, we can achieve greater success.

Do you already have an idea for a project that CentreWorks might assist with? Let us take you through the CentreWorks process to show how we can take your good idea and transform it into reality!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Project funding (to include faculty stipend, student stipend in some cases, and community partner stipend where applicable)
  • Assistance with exploration of extramural funding opportunities
  • Connections with community partners
  • Connections with campus partners
  • Organizational assistance (planning the stages of a project, from beginning to end)
  • Space for meetings, community conversations, lunches, and gatherings of any kind

Funding is available for faculty-led projects. Projects must involve a community-member and be submitted by the application deadline. Following this link to review the application.

CentreWorks is a place for innovation! We bring real-world experiences and experiential learning together in the classroom and the board room. Let CentreWorks be the place where you build projects and experiment with an ideas.

Each project is unique and there can be a wide-range of community involvement. There is no required level of community engagement with a given project at CentreWorks. Some projects will involve the community on a deeper level and others will be more limited. All are welcome!
